A few months ago Luke “Drunkalilly” Summerhayes reviewed YouTube & Streaming favourite Goat Simulator.
Now it’s my turn with I am Bread on PS4, I got my review code a few weeks ago and after playing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. I thought it would be great to start I am Bread as it’s so different to something like MGSV as it’s such a unique thing as how many games do you play as a piece of bread who wants to be toasted.
I started of going right into the story mode and I’m a piece of wholemeal bread looking to get to the toaster on the other side of the kitchen.
Which sounds simple but this game must have the worst controls ever in a video game, okay it’s hard to know how a piece of bread would control but this is awful.
The control system is similar to Octodad: Dadliest Catch which made sense as each limb was controlled by a button on the Dual Shock 4.
If you can figure out how to get your bread over to the toaster you can only be on the floor for so long as you will get dirt on you and lose your taste.
This game is £9.99 on PSN, I would have had far more fun buying a 40p loaf of bread and using it as football then playing this.
Watch the game if you must but that’s all I would recommend doing.
