I like a lot of people was disappointed that the new Micro Machines wasn't well received along with no Nintendo Switch version.
VooFoo studios picked up the ball dropped by Codemasters and ran with it, with the impressive Mantis Burn Racing.
MBR had come to other systems before the Switch, now that it has come, it has all the extras the previous version received and cross-play as well giving MBR an instant online community.
I can't help compare MBR to Micro Machines due to the bird's eye view of what then makes it look like you're racing little cars.
However, this plays much more seriously then micro machines ever did with the career mode taking over multiple seasons and difficulties giving MBR a serious racing tone.
It also does if you want it more silly options with cars with guns and WipEout like ships to also race around with.
MBR can't be accused of being light on content and not having enough features with various race types as well.
If you are looking for another racer after Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch, you could do a lot worse then Mantis Burn Racing.
